Parted Magic 4.5 RC1 is a platform independent solution for formatting disks, which could easily have done everyone. It is a LiveCD distribution that could run both the CD, and from USB. Parted Magic works with 16 filesystems (AUFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS, HFS +, JFS, LinuxSwap, NTFS, OCFS2, ReiserFS, Reiser4, XFS and ZFS) without problems partitsiite convert from one to another without data loss.
