Google's weblog publishing platform Blogger announced a new feature bringing built-in support for jump breaks (the "read more" links on most blogs' front pages). Jump breaks make for a visually cleaner front page by hiding the bulk of each post in the main view.
This has been a long requested feature in Blogger, and the Blogger Buzz post admits that people have been hacking this by manually editing their own HTML for quite some time now. Still, it's nice to see this officially implemented. Jump breaks can be added to a post via a new button in the editor or you can add in HTML edit mode.
